Position summary
This position is responsible for helping retail manager to ensure that customer’s experience is fast and friendly through completion of assigned tasks. We want to provide fast service but never rush or be impatient with the customer or manager. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

- Read and follow Ice Express CODE, policies, and procedures
- Positive mental attitude in working with customers and co-workers
- Follow instructions of Retail Manager and Assistant.
- Keep area clean and stocked
- Notify Manager of equipment problems immediately
- Dependability and punctuality are an absolute must or immediate termination is possible

- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to organize and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work in a high traffic area
- Ability to operate our ice shavers and all equipment pertaining to retail operation

Position summary
You will represent Ice Express with a good image by delivering ice and services safely and efficiently utilizing company vehicles and equipment. You must conduct all activities according to Ice Express CODE, policies and procedures.

The delivery of ice to restaurants and other locations primarily in the Houston area. Also other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Read and follow the Ice Express CODE, policies, procedures and driver’s handbook.
Driver must deal with co-workers, customers and vendors in a friendly and courteous manner.
You are responsible for your truck and equipment and ice you are carrying. Treat ice like it is food and keep your truck clean.
Follow all instructions given to you by dispatcher on duty or supervisor and inform them of problems you foresee.
Use a positive mental attitude in your work and remember our goal is I hour emergency service and on time delivery with safety as our top priority.
Drivers must be prepared to work in any traffic, weather and timing condition according to the company’s business needs.
Dependability and punctuality are an absolute must or immediate termination is possible
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
Drivers must have a current CDL Texas driver’s license and ability to drive our trucks and over the age of 21 with good driving record.
Drivers must have the knowledge to drive all of our trucks in a safe manner.
Drivers must know the Houston area and how to navigate it and how to read road maps efficiently.
Drivers must be able to read, write and speak English. Spanish also is a plus.
Drivers must have the mathematical ability to correctly complete delivery tickets, RMA, proper signatures, check ins and inventory.
Drivers need the ability to work independently with little supervision in a safe and responsible manner.
Drivers need the ability to organize and prioritize effectively with time management skills.
Drivers must have mechanical aptitude for our operation.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds multiple times. More weight may need to be move by thinking and applying leverage knowledge to it. Hand trucks are used to move larger weights.

Position summary: Assist snow job captain
This position is responsible for: Anything snow captain needs to be done to prepare for, carry to completion and clean up after snow blowing jobs and slides. You may be asked to assist with other duties as needed

Pulling pallets of ice and putting bags into snow blower to make snow.
Keeping inside of truck clean by stacking pallets and picking up trash on floor of truck.
